Just found this community — newly diagnosed with opioid use disorder

I don't really know where to start. I was just formally diagnosed with opioid use disorder after my doctor found out I've been using prescription painkillers for about 2 years. I've been prescribed them legitimately but it escalated and I've been getting extras from other sources. I'm not ready to go to a traditional rehab. I have a job, a family. I've been reading about ibogaine and it sounds like it could actually work for me — the idea that you can address the root cause rather than just manage cravings is something that resonates. Has anyone here been in a similar situation? I'm scared but I'm more scared of where I'm headed if I don't do something. Please be kind. This is the first time I've told anyone.
